1. Try looking if there are wild fires going on in the area

3. My guess is the heat. Usually heat, especially in cities prevents the dissipation of contamination.

   Seville being close to the sea may have sea breeze but Extremadura may not.

   Just wild guess.

4. Fires, i passed through that area 2 days ago and sky was dark cause of the smoke
