Two tourists from the Netherlands lost their orientation during a hike in the Puka Mountains, in the Qerret area.
The State Police in Albania has announced that immediately after receiving the information, the services of the Puka Police Commissariat headed towards the mountainous area to locate and assist the tourists.
“Immediately after the announcement, the services of the Puka Police Commissariat were dispatched towards Mount Qerret, to locate and assist the tourists who had lost their orientation,” the announcement states.
After several hours of searching, police officers managed to find the two Dutch tourists, one of whom, citizen KD, had suffered minor injuries after falling while hiking in the mountains.
Tourists have thanked the police officers for their readiness and assistance.
