This retarded youtube’s autotranslation is driving me crazy. Do i have to change my Google account language to English to make this stop? TF does this mean? The AI is not as advanced as they seem to think.

  2. For yt app you can change app language, but then it will translate polish titles I to English (and dub them)

  4. On mobile, you unfortunately have to change the app language, which sucks. On browsers, there are plugins that de-translate the titles for you, thankfully.

  6. This pisses me off so fuckin’ much; there’s not even an option to turn it off because the morons at Google think that non-english-speaking people are inept idiots who use Google Translate all the time.

  10. You can set your default languages in Google account settings (not youtube app) to English, as most likely you have polish. Then autotranslation will be other way around. The best is to have English us as default and polish as secondary – no autotranslation whatsoever

  12. I have subscriptions in several languages and I can understand them. These translations seem to be completely random. Some videos are not affected. 

    Often, something is lost even already in the translation of the title, and I get confused thinking that a channel started to produce content in another language.

    Don’t even get me started on that auto-dubbing abomination! 

  14. This thing also doesn’t have any sense until they start put translated audio (and I hope that they won’t have such idea in near future). What’s the point of translating title while the content is still in a foreign language.

    They really need to upgrade the autotranslate, it’s very bad for English to English let alone other languages.

  21. YEEEEEEES i even had a situation that i wanted to watch a reel in Polish and they putted on a AI generated voice in English trying to translated it ☠️☠️its driving me crazy sometimes

  24. I changed to Czech and it doesn’t translate. YouTube seems confused why a dude in Poland watches a English video while having the app in Czech

  26. I also saw thumbnail translations 🤯 (recently added MrBeast videos). How does that even work?
