What shitebags. What kind of monster would steel the pedals off of a unicycle?
And if it was chained to the bikes frame they would’ve taken the tire. Gotta love quick release latches.
Or a wheely good one !
Someone just learnt where to attach the lock in future
Out and out scumbags… You’d genuinely want to be a brave man/woman locking your bike up in the city.
Travelled to Amsterdam recently and there were 100s of bikes left outside the train stations, most of which were unlocked. We have such a horrible toxic scumbag culture here. The government will literally give you free money, social housing etc but you still feel the need to rob from the very people funding your weekly dole.
You never forget your first bike getting stolen.
Edit: i just assumed was the first bike because you never lock your bike with the wheel x’D
He looks wheely tired
Jock from the young offenders at it again
Whenever I leave my bike locked on the quays (specifically by the arch in Temple Bar), someone messes with it – twiddles the gears, tries to release the wheel, etc. The worst was when someone removed the bolts from one of the brake disks.
Imagine if the Gardia did their jobs…
I’m having a great Monday, just found half a bike down the road.
Limerick I presume? Lol, see this all the time !! No wonder people don’t cycle more lol
My friend lives in an apartment block in the city and someone stole an entire bike rack from there car park.
Like what.
Yknow despite the fact there’s no public transit, at least living in the countryside your bike is less likely to get nicked
Two people, really. The guy whose bike was stolen and the guy trying to ride the stolen bike with only one wheel.
My bike was lifted on Camden street after midnight on Saturday night. Scumbags
Nobody to blame but the person who did a shite job of locking their bike
Aungier Street TUD campus, if you go down the left side of the building(facing the entrance) there is an underground car park with places to lock your bike plus CCTV and I don’t think many thieves know about it. You don’t have to be a student either to enter just go around the barrier.
Wouldnt happen if they used the bike lane.
This is the most Irish thing I’ve seen
Ain’t nobody taking my damn wheel. That’s for sure.
If i had to guess the bike, it would be the popular Carrera Vengeance sold in Halfords
Is there any way to prevent a bike from being stolen? Or are all locks etc. just a hindrance to the thieves?
You must be new around here … 😂
Eyre Square Galway?
Kinda their own fault though. Who puts the lock around one wheel.
This reminds me of a time when I saw a guy locking his bike up and I just walked up and disconnected the frame from the wheel and said he should probably tie the frame and wheel because he has quick release on the front wheel. Never seen a man more happy to not be robbed in my life.
This is why these kids are all pros at wheeling…
Always got to lock the frame and both wheels but bad luck
I have a long, heavy chain, massive padlock and two bike locks exactly to prevent this from happening.
It looks mental qhen I put them on but it keeps my bike safe…
