I mean, why shouldn’t they be able to? Doesn’t matter if you agree with what they do. They are used for the purposes of their business.
Makes sense, vouched expenses.
Assuming they have to pay income tax on their earnings I’m kind of on board with it to be honest.
If they pay tax then it’s a work expense.
Like any business, this should be allowed.
Imagine being pathetic enough to subscribe to Only fans. I thought it was just an American incel thing.
Edit: Hahaha, looks like the chronic wankers of Reddit have arrived
Why have we glamorised only fans. It’s prostitution.
It’s not sexually suggestive content. It’s porn at best and prostitution at worst.
If they pay tax, then surely certain expenses should be tax deductible like any other business
If I have a boiler suit / work clothes as part of my business but use it for personal reasons outside of work.
If I buy screwdrivers that are essential for work but use them outside of hours for personal use.
What’s the difference?
I love how this sub harps on about Zionism being evil, but are happy to support Onlyfans despite the owner being a massive Zionist supporter. I suppose their moral convictions only apply if they don’t interfere with their wanking.
If they sell those clothes on how does Revenue look on that?
*In one tax filing, an OnlyFans user tried to claim that clothing for use in risque photos or videos should be a deductible expense. An email from an official, released under Freedom of Information, said: “We have received all invoices for the purchase of clothing, but we have received no breakdown between personal and business use.”The Revenue staff member asked whether there was any “agreed consensus” on how much could be claimed.*
How does one get the VAT back on a 14” alien dildo? Asking for a friend…
If they pay taxes then they have a right to do it. Many streamers and youtubers do the same so not sure why OF would be any different here.
So, is this just a case of the Indo still think we’re going to be in arms about sex working faux-morality?
Get witht the times, lads – seriously
I work as a Cam model and had this out with Revenue last year. They see toys and outfits as something that can be used personally outside of your “content creations”. Seriously, am I going to be walking round Aldi in a French maid outfit that shows my ass? Tbf though if they did allow it where would it stop? I could then start claiming for my makeup and sure why not then claim for botox and lip fillers. I do get a lot of my outfits and paraphernalia these days off my viewers via an amazon wish list which technically speaking I should be declaring to Revenue. I think content creators have it pretty good as it is. That is of course if they are good at what they do.
The 14 inch rubber fist gets worn out pretty fast.
I feel like a Helen Lovejoy for saying it but it’s a bit weird how Onlyfans is so ubiquitous these days.
Well. Yeah. They should.

Seems like a completely valid business expense. What’s the issue?
On a moral and policy level I agree that sex work is work. If someone is willing to sell and someone is willing to buy then fine. My problem is with the way big players, like the Zionist owners of OnlyFans, push to glamorize these platforms for younger generations. And beyond that, I think it reflects a deeply ugly capitalist mindset…the whole empowerment through making money at any cost thing
