1. The flavor of the month recently has been “Sequels many years later”, and I don’t imagine that faucet to close anytime soon: Best he can expect is to just decline appearing in it, since there most certainly isn’t any contractual reasons why he’d have to.

3. They should make everyone think Brand was killed at sea…but then he shows up, having killed the giant octopus from the first movie.

6. Stop destroying amazing movies with sequels 30 years later. Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Dumb & Dumber, Happy Gilmore, etc. All these amazing movies and franchises from long ago tarnished by garbage lame-ass sequels with terrible writing.

7. Bob’s Burgers gave us one. It’s called the Belchies. LOL

8. Good! Now he can work on that Thrashin! sequel all 12 of us fans have been waiting for.

9. Hollywood…you better not reboot or remake this movie. For fucks sake just let it be.

10. Stop trying to reboot perfect movies. Make new original IP, or if you must do reboots, do the ones that sucked but had good source material.

12. Unnecessary sequels have ruined the legacy of a lot of great movies so I’m glad to see at least some people in the Hollywood acknowledge that.

16. I’m sorry but who would the sequel be for? It was a movie for kids starring kids? Most of the people who watched this their grandchildren are too young and their kids too old to enjoy watching it together.

    Brand was a minor character, imo.

    Any sequel will have to star Mickey.
    Sean Astin should be the lead.
