Yeah no shit UK had a great deal with EU and lots of benefits no other member ever had
It’s not gonna lead to a return anytime soon, but it might at least serve to make some other people think twice before blindly trusting grifters like the brexiteers in the future.
Babe wake up, it’s time for your daily article of “Brits got manipulated and now are showing remorse for voting like dumbfucks”.
We now have those regularly it seems.
I’d be okay for britain to come back, but ain’t no way they’re getting that good of a deal this time.
This is the part where you find out
Most likely 12% have died in the last ten years.
29% is still quite high…
I guess this means they won’t Brexit again anytime soon.
The United Kingdom will always gravitate towards Europe.
The only idiocy greater than Brexit is the current apathy towards rejoining.
Breturn! Now!
And yet the nu-Brexit party/Reform, led by the same person who was the staunchest public advocate of Brexit, is currently leading the election polls. While Starmer’s popularity does anything but rise any time he cuts a deal with the EU. Curious.
Given the age profiles of the original vote this was always going to happen as time went on.
Yet huge numbers of people support Farage. Why on earth is that?
To be fair, it wasn’t just racists who voted to leave Europe. Cunts did as well.
Not a great achievement since around 2% of the voters had to change idea to turn the tables.
That doesn’t mean they want to return to EU, it only means that the respondents think that being part of EU (on old rules) was better than Brexit. And if they were to rejoin, they wouldn’t get as favorable terms (switching to Euro as a must).
Alright time for the biweekly circle jerk.
On your marks get set go!
As someone who is from Britain and pro rejoin, it’s still too much of a risk for the EU to even consider serious talks when Reform or Tories could come back in and just bulldoze all of the negotiations, we are too much of a wild card. If I was the EU I’d only let us begin such negotiations once there’s some serious political alignment and the pro Brexit number is much much lower and that could take a long time. On the bright side our relations grow closer and we’re aligning on more and more areas, that type of progress is all we can ask for at this point.
Only 29% would vote for Brexit, but apparently the majority of voters is willing to support mister Brexit in the hopes that somehow this time he’ll not do any harm.
Is it easy to comeback -BritIn?
The question is now moot. The real question is if they want to become EU members again.
Have we talked about the role russian online propaganda played in all this? And the american or euro tech companies (meta, Cambridge analytica by any other name) taking money from anyone to push political dissent and misinformation?
Are we finally ready to start evaluating the societal costs of this online free for all that ostensibly broadens citizen united to the entire globe?
It’s mainly because it was a stupid and unnecessary act of self harm that needed extraordinary amounts of lying and lawbreaking to achieve it. People have seen through the charade that it would be good for the country.
Real shame
A little too late.
In order to rejoin they’d have to win at Eurovision first.
A separate UK from the EU is a benefit to Russia
A small percentage of Brits took away the opportunity of the next generations to live and work in the continent without restrictions for selfish reasons.
Weekly Brexit circlejerk is here…
Yeah. Blame “brexit” that you still vat and all other legacy EUrolegislation, taxes included.
Lol
I would like to see those number now that von der leyen completely fumble the negociation with Trump
She just killed EU but fine
German right Wingers just do not want to learn from Brexit Case.
Funny how everyone loves the right-wing, right up until they have to live under a right-wing government…
