FURIOUS Canada CHECKMATES Trump as TALKS FALL APART

Canada has fought back. Canada has punched back into Donald Trump’s face and said, “Not today.” Canada will not be intimidated, will not be bullied by Donald Trump’s threats. And in the process, Canada exposed how weak Donald Trump has made the United States economy. In other words, checkmate Donald. Prime Minister Carney outmaneuvered you. And Prime Minister Carney said, “Okay, Donald, you’re going to make these threats. You’re going to set these deadlines. you’re going to make these fake trade deals. Canada ain’t playing ball with that. We are always going to represent Canada in these negotiations, but we will not be bullied and we will not be intimidated and we will not bow down to artificial deadline. So when finally the August 1st deadline approached, Donald Trump was like, I hereby impose 35% tariffs on Canada. And Prime Minister Carney stood his ground and he was like, well, that’s disappointing, Donald. We’re disappointed in you, but we’re representing the interest of Canada, so go pound sand. And Prime Minister Carney pulled out of Washington DC their trade minister, Dominique Leblanc, and said, “See you later, Donald. We’re going to focus on building Canada strong. We don’t need to deal with you right now if this is how you’re going to behave. We’re disappointed in you, Donald. Treat him like a baby.” Here’s the full quote from Prime Minister Carney. While we will continue to negotiate with the United States on our trading relationship, the Canadian government is laser focused on what we can control. Building Canada strong. Canadians will be our own best customer, creating more well-paying careers at home as we strengthen and diversify our trading partnerships throughout the world. In other words, Donald, we are looking to Europe. We are looking to Asia. We are looking to Africa. We are looking to Australia. We are looking to Mexico, Central America, and South America. And we are saying bye-bye to the United States. As the Washington Post puts it in this headline for Canada’s Carney, no deal with Trump might be better than a bad one. You do not make a bad deal or a fake deal with the United States. So here’s what happened with the uh trade minister Dominique Leblanc who was uh there in Washington DC. He was talking to Donald Trump’s commerce secretary Howard Lutnik and then Donald Trump earlier in the week said it’s going to be very he goes Donald Trump goes oh Canada it’s going to be so difficult to do a deal with you because you now support a Palestinian state. Bad decision. And then Howard Lutnik went on TV and said why would you do that? Why would you recognize a Palestinian state? Now we can’t do a trade deal with you. Huh? Because you recognize the existence of a Palestinian state, which we should all do. Now that’s a new condition. The United States imposed always a bad faith actor. And by the way, you know, Donald Trump said 90 deals in 90 days. Well, we’re well past 90 days. Trump has actually done zero deals. You know how I know he’s done zero deals? Show me one piece of paper that actually has a deal written on it instead of just Donald Trump’s social media post. Because when I look at Japan, they say, “We ain’t giving $550 billion to the United States. That ain’t happening. There’s no binding deal. Maybe we’ll give a loan, but that’ll be at our sole discretion. European Union says we ain’t giving $750 billion to the United States. You know, m maybe companies want to invest or give loans, but we can’t guarantee anything.” And when Prime Minister Carney stood up, and I’ll show you what um Minister Leblanc did in a moment, it exposed how weak the United States economy is because on Friday, the markets pretty much crashed in the United States. Donald Trump then fired the Bureau of Labor Statistics Commissioner um because Donald Trump hated that the job numbers came in so bad. Um, we saw economic data that hasn’t been this bad since the great recession of 2008. And now Prime Minister Carney says, “Checkmate, Donald. Checkmate.” Because who’s in the driver’s seat right now? Even people like Kevin Olri, a Canadian, who was all about, I think, being like a sellout to Canada cuz he was all about we should be the 51st state and Canada would be so much better if we looked more American. He was doing all of that. Now, even Kevin Olirri, again, Canadian, or I’m sure a lot of Canadians don’t want him to be Canadian, he’s all like, “Yeah, I think the market’s reacting to the fact that the United States of America didn’t get a trade deal done with Canada and did bad deals.” Yeah, you think your tune has changed a little bit, O Liry, Mr. Whatever the hell you call yourself? Here’s how it’s being reported of LeBlanc’s exit. After months of drama, drama? You mean Donald Trump acting like a freaking psychopath? Don’t act like this is mutual drama. Politico was writing this. After months of I’ll just change it. Trump acting like a freaking psychopath. Prime Minister Carney’s top lieutenant departed Washington Friday without a deal. But confident Canada’s trade pack with the US and Mexico would blunt the impact of Donald Trump’s escalating tariff. Canada US Trade Minister Dominic Leblanc held a lengthy meeting with Howard Lutnik on Tuesday after touching down in DC before moving on to other senior White House officials. None of that prevented Trump from raising Canada tariffs from 35 uh from 25% to 35%. Although it’s important to note that those tariffs are just on all non USMCA compliant stuff. So about 85% of the trade relationship or maybe even slightly more is already covered and exempted from the tariffs under the US MCA, United States, Mexico, Canada agreement, which was basically the update of NAFTA. That was actually a real agreement. But there’s still a lot of other stuff out there um that can cause real pain in the economy for, by the way, for both Canada and the United States. Um but Canada’s going to make the United States pay even more. Um, so Leblanc leaves and then he goes, “I’d expect to maybe talk to Lutnik on the phone next week. We’ll see.” There’s no meeting schedule, Leblanc said. But I exchanged a text message with him yesterday. Boom. Perfect. Exactly how you should act, not panic because why panic? Let Trump and Lutnik panic. Let the Kevin Olirri’s panic. Stay calm and stay confident and stay Canada strong. It’s just funny. Candace Lang, the CEO of the Canadian Chamber of Com commerce, called the White House fact sheet, saying we must impose these tariffs on Canada because of Canada putting all these spentinol drugs into the United States, which is not happening. So Candace Lang said, “Yeah, that’s what’s called a factless sheet. More factless tariff turbulence does not advance North American economic security.” Now, one of the things that Prime Minister Carney was also watching as well was the oral arguments that took place here in our Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, which finally on Thursday heard the arguments that Donald Trump’s trade war against the world was unlawful and exceeded his powers to declare an emergency. um which is and you know his emergency claim is uh fentinol that Canada is killing all of these Americans with drugs and and Donald Trump applied this emergency power across the world and the court was very skeptical of Donald Trump’s uh claim. So it’s possible Trump’s going to lose in the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and they’re going to negate the existing tariffs. Carney’s smart. He’s watching that. And as I said, Carney brought Trump to his knees on Friday because look what happened to the American market. The Dow was down over 1%, the S&P was down 1.6%, NASDAQ was down 2.2%. And the job data was horrible that came out. And a lot of the reasons why we’re seeing uh job cuts 75% more now than they were this time under the Biden administration also is Canada led an international boycott against the United States of America. We’re not buying your products if you treat us like crap. You You want to test us, Donald? International tourism boycott. We’re not going to the United States. Las Vegas is suffering. Florida is suffering. Arizona, lots of states are suffering because Canadians, Palm Springs is suffering. Canada would normally be tra Canadians would normally be traveling to the United States. They’re skipping over and going to Mexico or they’re going elsewhere and Canada is buying Canada. They’re not buying American products. They’ve inspired Australia to do the same. What’s up, Midas Mates? They’ve inspired Europe to do the same and Africa and elsewhere um to do the same. So, let me show you this um just to remind you. uh earlier in the week when Prime Minister Carney, it’s about four days a five days ago, Prime Minister Carney was holding a press conference and he goes, “Look, we sure that there’s August 1st. That’s Donald Trump’s claiming August 1. But we are not going to bow down to an artificial deadline. Listen to what Prime Minister Carney said. Let’s play it.” Let me start with the second part of your question, which is uh uh industry, businesses, Canadians, uh yeah, they are anxious and they’re cons uh they are concerned. They don’t like they don’t deserve the uncertainty that’s been thrust upon them. Uh they don’t like it. They like resolution, but they’d also like another they want the right kind of resolution. They want a deal that makes sense for Canada, that makes sense for Canadian business, for Canadian workers. Um and the negotiations are at a intense phase. It’s a complex negotiation. you see with the various uh uh trade deals that have been agreed by other jurisdictions, European Union yesterday, Japan before, Indonesia, etc. uh the United Kingdom uh that there are many aspects to these negotiations. Uh we’re engaged in them. Uh but the assurance for Canadian business, for Canadians, is we will only sign a deal that’s a right deal, that’s a good deal for Canada. We’re representing Canada. We’re standing up for Canada. Um, the United States and Canada do many good things together. We have done that in the past. We can do more in the future. Uh, but on fair terms for our country. Yeah. So now let me show you someone like Kevin Olirri. A panickin. Kevin Olirri a panickin right now. And again Kevin Olirri was all cocky before you know cuz he was he was like uh you know even though he’s Canadian he was like America should take us over. America should crush us. I was like he was saying the most humiliating things. Imagine. I’m at Mara Lago selling out Canada in my opinion. Okay, so Kevin Olirri is explaining why the bad economic data. He goes, I think the market’s concerned that Trump didn’t do a deal with Canada. Bullseye. Here, play this clip. Um, I think the market is a little concerned about major trading partners not getting deals yet. That makes sense. It’s not a good idea to have 35% tariffs on Canada. We know that that’s coming into place at midnight right now, unless something magic happens. So there’s a lot of V around um what’s going to happen on trade because you heard Ford automotive company whining about $2 billion worth of profits evaporating because of tariffs. You heard that from GM last week. You talked about that yesterday. So with this volatility, it’s more about future earnings. But a lot of this stuff, including the trade print or the job print noise, just noise. You don’t make decisions based on one print. And here’s Kevin Olirri again saying, “Yeah, I mean, we’ll have to see what happens, but uh, you know, maybe Trump makes a Canada deal. It helps the market, but we’ll see.” Here, play this clip. It’s just a negotiating tactic. And I’ve always said this, you got to forget about watching sausage being made with Trump cuz he likes to do it right in front of the camera. He’s grinding the meat and it’s coming out of the meat grinder and he likes to show it to you until it’s put into the sausage. I don’t necessarily need to see that. I just want to know what the policy policy is, as I said yesterday. So, if we end up next week with a Canadian deal at 10 to 15%. Good deal. It’s going to be fine for both countries. And that’s why I say let’s wait. I mean, I don’t know. You’ve been watching like crazy. Who’s going to negotiate 190 deals in 6 months? Impossible. You just want the headline number and that’s what we’re waiting for. In other words, Carney holds the cards right now. Cardi holds the cards. If there’s no, do you get what I’m saying? If there’s no deal with Canada, what do you think’s going to happen? The market’s going to continue to tumble. I think it’s going to continue to tumble anyway. So, so Carney’s like, “Test me.” And Carney is a former central banker, right? He was the leader of the Bank of Canada. He was the leader of the Bank of England. You know, he knows intimately what’s going on with the markets. He knows that Canada holds close to a trillion dollars in US treasuries. By the way, Japan holds more than a trillion US treasuries. So, I think that Carney fully understands the systemic weakness in the United States and he’s bringing the United States down to his knees. But, by the way, go back to the interview I did with none other than former member of parliament Charlie Angus. Back on January 4th, 2025, I conducted this interview right when Oiri was saying 51st state and Trump was mocking Canada. Here is what Angus was telling people in Canada and the United States. And Angus rallied everybody. He rallied the world. Frankly, Angus deserves, in my opinion, you know, some some major recognition for what he did. But here’s what he said. January 4th, 2025. Here, watch this. As Marlago moves to Washington, we’re watching a a grifter’s parade. We’ve got loser billionaires like Kevin Olirri coming down and to c to to talk to Trump and saying he’s gonna cut a deal to sell out Canada. We got losers on Fox talking about taking over the making us the 51st state. We all know what that’s about. This is all about diversion. Uh Donald is coming in at a time that he’s going to bring maximum chaos, maximum havoc to the American people. So, he’s looking for a punching bag. And there’s this nice, quiet Canadian neighbors that they’re threatening they’re going to take over. Uh what? He’s going to steal all our water. Um maybe come and take the chickens out of the backyard as well. I don’t know. But the thing is, Donald, it’s not going to work. And what you’re doing is you’re creating chaos for your own people, you know. And now you have in Canada liberal the liberal government in Canada led by Prime Minister Carney, conservative premers other than uh other than Daniel Smith in Alberta, but you’ve got, you know, Doug Ford uh who used to be Maple Ma back in 2016, 2017, but he’s very anti-Trump now because he’s pro Canada. You can’t be pro Canada and pro Trump. It just doesn’t work that way. If you’re pro Canada, you’re anti-Trump because Trump’s trying to destroy Canada. So Doug Ford’s message, he wrote this whole message after Donald Trump’s, you know, imposing the 35% tariffs. Doug Ford says, “Look, I spoke to the Liberal government, Prime Minister Carney, Doug Ford’s conservative premier, provincial level in Ontario,” and goes, “I told him, we don’t bow down to Donald Trump. We’re in this together. Let’s fight.” And here’s what Doug Ford said in a speech that he gave yesterday. Let’s play this clip. Uh going back to your comments earlier about uh President Trump and the uh trade war, do you think it’s possible for Canada to get a deal with Trump that doesn’t include tariffs on certain sectors like auto, steel, aluminum, and energy? And would you be satisfied with a sectoral tariff deal? Well, great great question. You know, it’s a problem with President Trump and you know, we’re we’re united. First of all, I’ve never seen this country more united ever um in all my years of being in politics and it’s it’s a great feeling. all provinces, territories, municipalities, and the federal government. But you know, Prime Minister Carney is trying his best. But this guy will say something one day and he’ll wake up and the cheese slips off the cracker and then all of a sudden he goes the other way. And you’re thinking, how do you deal with a guy like this? Um, are we hoping that we can get a deal with zero tariffs? Yes. But I always say how we can we can kick back and it’s not the American people kick back at President Trump is let’s start onshoring everything absolutely everything we possibly can like I beams those big steel I beams I didn’t realize we don’t make them here until found out during the trade deal or the rails that are beautiful uh our cars are going to be made sorry the street cars are going to be made down the street we don’t make the rails so we need to start making rails and and start uh making sure that we make those steel I-beams and aluminum cans. Now, aluminum cans are my favorite. The Coke, the Pepsis, all the other beverages, the Molson, the Bats, the the craft brewers. We have We’re the kings of aluminum in Quebec. They ship the aluminum down 25% tariff. They get printed and formed 25% back tariffs. So my question was, why aren’t we making aluminum cans here? Now we’re going to be making aluminum cans. They’re going to lose a billion dollars of the business in the US. And same with tin tin cans from DeFasco, ship it down to the US. They get formed. I had a meeting with the the big users of the the tins. Now we’re bringing a line up here and they they’re going to be losing out on about 1.3 billion cans uh just on the tin cans. But I want to we can build anything here. We’re an economic powerhouse. You know, folks, we don’t have to take a backseat to anyone in the world. And we sure the heck don’t have to take a backseat to President Trump. He needs to remember we’re his yes, they’re our number one customer, but we’re their number one customer. You hear about all these deals he’s making, he’s making, and they’re good good countries, Japan and Korea, and but I’ll give you an example with Japan. and he said he made this beautiful deal and everything and God bless him, but they buy $79 billion with the products US off of off off of uh the US. Canada buys 359 billion US off off the folks south of the border. 9 million Americans wake up every single morning to produce a widget or a good just for Ontario alone. Those 9 million jobs are in jeopardy. Uh right now we buy more products off the US than Japan, Korea, China, the UK, and France combined. So I wouldn’t roll over. And I’ve told the prime minister, do not roll over. Hit that guy back as hard as we possibly can. And uh that’s what we need to do. And we can do it. We can build anything here in Canada. absolutely anything from the beautiful trains that we build here to the planes to automobiles to uh satellites to jet engines. Uh and I the list could go on and on and on. And our strength are the people. We have the brightest people anywhere in the world right here in Ontario. So when everyone goes out, another very powerful tool are the people of Canada. when you go out and you go to buy a product, just flip it around the back and see where it’s manufactured and buy Canadian when you can. Uh, anything possible. And I got to call one company out that I learned when I was just two days ago. I met with all these tin can users and their food products. You know, is a company called Campbell Soup. They told me that Campbell Soup’s putting a Canadian flag on their cans. They closed their plants here. They moved everything down to the US and they put recipe made in Canada. What sort of nonsense is that? Don’t let them hoodwink you. I’m going to call them out again. I’m going to show you one of their cans. It’s unacceptable that they do that, you know. Don’t try to pull one over people’s eyes. Canadians are too smart for that. So, please, when you go shopping, I know it’s not always possible, buy Canadian as you as much as you can. So, we’ll we’re going to win this thing one way or another. We aren’t going to go down and we aren’t going to roll over. We’ll keep fighting every every single day. Canada stood strong. Canada stood proud. And I like that Prime Minister Carney is just going about his day. Also focusing on what matters, like trying to get aid to Gaza. Prime Minister Carney writes, “A new airlift of Canadian aid landed in Gaza today with the thanks to his majesty King Abdullah II and our Jordanian partners. Canada is dedicating more than $340 million in aid to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and we will ensure it moves forward at the necessary scale. Contrast that with Donald Trump’s post from July 30th. Wow. Canada has just announced that it is backing statehood for Palestine. That will make it very hard for us to make a trade deal with them. Oh, Canada. No. Oh, Donald. Because Prime Minister Carney and Canada just exposed how weak you are. how America’s economic fundamentals are terrible right now. And you even have the Trump apologists like Olyri blaming the fact that Trump didn’t get a trade deal with Canada as one of the reasons that Americans markets are crashing and tumbling and why we have a bad jobs report. So look who holds the cards now. His name is Prime Minister Carney. Everybody hit subscribe. Let’s

  1. Trump has no right to implement tariffs, that's congress' job, and these world leaders know this crap tariff show will continue to fall apart.

  2. It’s sad that the House and Senate GOP’s don’t have the same courage as Canada. Canada recognizes how TACO is ridden with insecurity and fear. The GOP needs to wake up and realize Trump is absolutely no threat to them.

  3. Let's support genuine democracies, not those that use a democratic facade to hide an autocratic regime.

  4. Every country should take a lesson from Canada. Take care of your country. Don’t allow this man in your country and you see how American will fall and I’m a American get a backbone Democrat get a backbone. He’s not an above of God.

  5. trump views Canada as the USA's little brother, but in a little over 3 years, "the little brother" is going to go to
kindergarten, to pick up the "old brother". I certainly hope we won't have to pay the caution to get him out of prison!

  6. The Canadian government sold out Canadian economic interests long ago, that is why Canada is in the position it faces. For example, look at Canada's aircraft manufacturing, sold out to Boeing. Other manufacturing is gone. Canadians are too complacent and it is time to wake up.

  7. My favourite salad comes from the U.S.. I've stopped buying it and I check all products to make sure I'm not buying American. If it means I have to give up on certain items, I can do that and I do. Turns out Guatemala has really tasty bananas. I do my best to make sure I don't buy American, though at times I don't really have a choice so I don't buy much of their product. I'll keep doing this until the Orange Fart and IT'S ilk are gone even maybe after that, I am one irked Canuck.

  8. I live in western Canada, I turn on Ben and he goes on word sandwich of how things in Canada are going…….
Ben Carney is bullshit and you are spreading it.

  9. We would be very happy if the next time O'Leary goes to the US, please keep that moron. I don't care where a sewer, Alligator Auschwitz, wherever. We don't want or need him back.

  10. Looks like the rest of the world doesn't want to make trade deals with Uncle Scam. The petulant child is on the world's stage in full display. The poor little playground bully… WHAaaaahhhh… nobody will play with me…

  11. World leaders tried to be polite and accommodating to Trump during his first term. Trump mistook their graciousness for weakness. Now he's finding out that none of them are having any of it this go around… and I am so here for it. I love watching Donny Boy's face turn red. So red, it changes the color of the top-coat of his makeup. Well done… Stick it to him.

  12. Donald Trump's America is closed for business and closed for tourism. It's your layover for El Salvador.

  13. 📈 Trump's tariffs are becoming a financial GAIN for those countries making new & PROFITABLE deals for THEIR OWN PEOPLE.

Too bad trump WON'T DO the SAME for AMERICANS. He keeps raising the costs to live in the USA!
    It's CRAZY 🤪!!!

  14. Um, fact check. The Canadian "negotiators" : ) went home after not being received for three days. NOT TO WORRY! CANADA WILL CRUSH THE U.S.A.!!! Just kidding. 😂
