Croatia is currently hosting more than one million tourists, with foreign guests making up 90% of the total. The largest groups of visitors come from Germany and Slovenia.
The Tourism Minister Tonči Glavina said the season is progressing as hoped:
“We’re on track with the projections presented in Hvar on the 22nd of July. Occupancy over the past few days is nearly full, and overall results for the year are strong.”
Glavina added that while July and August are expected to match or slightly exceed last year’s numbers, the focus remains on boosting arrivals and overnight stays in the pre- and post-season.
“What matters most now is a successful post-season, confirming Croatia’s status as a year-round destination,” he said.
