  1. Fucking lol. As a non American(IOM) this really does visualise the way I see your politics now. Completely devoid of class.

  2. >Even Grok, the AI chatbot on X, criticized the redesign, stating it turned an “iconic garden into a sterile plaza.”

And maybe an assertion of his flagging masculinity.

  3. Rip that shit up when he’s gone and put the Rose garden back.

  4. A metaphor for paving over everything good and beautiful in American with orange fascism.

  5. Bet it’ll be nice to stand on in the August afternoon.

  6. Can’t fucking beleive it. Not only it’s ugly, it look like a cheap restaurant terrasse.

  7. At this point, the White House will need to be razed after 2028, and a new one built in its place.

  8. This parking lot needs a cell phone store and a Panda Express

  9. Oh yes. If he can’t fuck it, eat it or cover it in fake gold, he paves it over.

  10. I’m surprised he didn’t build a playground so he could “shop local”.

  11. A perfect symbol of how he tears down the beautiful things this country has built and replaces it with shit no one asked for.

  12. Don’t it always seem to go,

You don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone.

    They take paradise,

    Put up a parking lot.

    – Joni Mitchell

  13. It probably is a parking lot. The West Wing is being torn down and converted into a ballroom for over 600 people, and yes once again “like Mara Lago”.
He apparently is trying to turn the White House into Mara Lago 2. It wouldn’t be surprising if he turns it into a club and charges exorbitant membership fees. He monetizes everything.

Correction: The East Wing and NOT the West Wing. I was thinking East and somehow typed West.

  14. Does he, or the Republicans, know that he is our employee and that is our house?

  15. This asshole has removed all dignity from the white house

  16. I can’t believe he fucking did this. What a tacky, classless move from a morally bankrupt piece of shit.

  17. Who is this guy, fucking Saruman?

Oh wait… Saruman wasn’t in the Epstein files.

  18. Gross. Not only is the effect disturbingly sterile, but it takes away from the grandeur of the White House itself, and it makes the Eisenhower Executive Office Building (visible in the photo behind the west colonnade) look positively dingy. The floral borders now have no visual impact at all; they get lost in the glaringly white concrete. It might as well be the sidewalk outside the local strip mall. And what is going on with the patio furniture? Who exactly is going to sit there and for what purpose? I mean, can you imagine being there on a sunny, triple-digit day? You’d be blinded while roasting to death! I hope the first thing the next administration does is rip up that monstrous patio, trash the useless furniture, and restore the lawn. I’ll be happy to make a donation to the cause.

  19. What was that lyric….paved paradise and put up a parking lot…?

  20. Golden decorations indoors, white concrete outdoors. This man’s taste is just as narrow as his cognition.

  21. I doubt there will be any flowers at tRumps grave either. More likely a golden image of a clown.

  22. He also touched little kids on a private island owned by a known ped0

  23. Again, he demonstrates that he is completely devoid of all virtues.

I honestly cant think of a single positive human trait he exhibits.

He isn’t kind. He isnt smart. He isn’t loyal. He isnt diligent.

Then he doesn’t like dogs, and now he doesn’t even liken*gardens*?!

For christ sake, he is just unpleasant in every conceivable way.

He is cartoonishly awful. If you wrote a fictional character this all around terrible people woukld call you a hack.

  24. That’s on brand.

Also Trump is a pedophile and sex trafficker. He is the deep state.

    He needs to step down.

And all of the other pedophiles and sex traffickers in MAGA need to be prosecuted.

  25. the king continues to work on his palace and make it just look fucking ugly

  26. All of this outrage over Trump is kind of like being mad at the bull in the china closet for breaking stuff. Don’t be mad at the bull.

Be mad at the people who sent the bull into the china closet deliberately to break stuff.

Be mad at the people who were so gullible as to believe that the bull would only go into the china closet and only sweep out the things that were already broken.

Be mad at the people who looked at the choices of letting a bull or a capybara go into the china closet, and decided not to make any choice at all, because they don’t think capybaras are as cute as red pandas.

Stop blaming Trump. Trump is being Trump. Blame the people who allowed Trump to be Trumpin’ all over our rose gardens, our neighbors, and our Constitution.

The next person who says, “Well, Harris was forced on us, so. . .” in my physical presence is going to land me in jail as well as the Guinness Book of World Records for depth of foot inserted into a rectum. (Hey, mods: that’s hyperbole. I’m not *actually* calling for blooter proctology.)

There needs to be some accountability here or we’re going to be in the same boat in 2028. And I don’t just mean the r/LeopardsAteMyFace posts filled with, “I didn’t know when I voted for Trump he would do all the things he said he was going to do.” We need people who didn’t vote at all to step up and admit:

Sometimes the lesser of two evils is the best choice we’ve got. (Most of the time, in my experience.) If you want better candidates, be a better voter.
