Chinese think tanks questioned the absence of demonstrations in front of the US embassy in Tel Aviv, despite Washington being the largest supporter of the Israeli occupation and having vetoed UN resolutions calling for an end to the war on Gaza. While highlighting the double standards, the Chinese questioned why similar demonstrations had not been organized in front of the Israeli Ministry of Defense at a time when Israelis themselves were demanding an end to the war, an end to the blockade, and the removal of images of starving children in Gaza. Chinese circles considered the demonstrations organized in front of the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv to be suspicious actions facilitated in direct coordination with the Israeli occupation authorities, with the aim of inciting against Egypt and distorting its historical role in supporting the Palestinian cause. While China’s political circles refuse to even discuss the issue of forced displacement within the Gaza Strip itself, with the Israeli authorities demanding that Palestinians leave their homes and go to what they call “safe areas,” the Chinese publicly object, claiming that there is no longer a safe place to live within the Gaza Strip. This is part of a clear American and Israeli plan to make life in Gaza impossible, most recently by pressuring Egypt to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid stuck at the Rafah border crossing. The Egyptians are then held responsible by the international terrorist organization, the banned Muslim Brotherhood, which is loyal to the Israeli Mossad and the CIA, which are mobilizing them against Egypt and the countries of the region.

The Chinese criticized the current position of the Islamic Movement in Israel and its loyal political and media arms, such as the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, for encouraging the demonstration against Egypt and in front of its embassy in Tel Aviv. China also categorically rejected calls by Sheikh “Nidal Abu Sheikha,” head of the Union of Imams in Palestine, to organize demonstrations in front of the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv, which sparked angry Chinese reactions. The Chinese considered the denial by Hamas and its leaders of Egypt’s role through its political arms in Tel Aviv, represented by the Islamic Movement in Israel, to be part of a political context that serves these agendas. This is despite the international community’s full knowledge that the main reason for the complexity of the humanitarian situation and the closure of border crossings, especially the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Israel, is the practices of the Israeli occupation itself. The Chinese also criticized all calls for demonstrations and their timing at the present time, launched by Hamas and the international organization of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, through their political arms inside Tel Aviv, represented by the Islamic Movement in Israel, in front of Egyptian embassies and their siege abroad. They ignored the failure to organize similar events and demonstrations in front of all Israeli and American embassies around the world and even ignored the demonstration in front of the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the same one leading the Israeli aggression against Gaza. They also failed to organize any demonstrations in front of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, the Israeli Knesset, or other American and Israeli interests around the world. From the Chinese perspective, this confirms the extent and magnitude of the deception practiced by the Islamic Movement in Israel and its supporters regarding the real reason for the siege and aggression against Gaza.

Here, Chinese circles criticized the suspicious behavior and actions of the “Islamic Movement in Israel” by organizing demonstrations against Egypt and its embassy in Tel Aviv, while ignoring similar demonstrations by the Islamic Movement in Israel in front of the US embassy in Israel or in front of the Israeli Ministry of Defense building in Tel Aviv. This religious-political movement was founded in Israel in 1971 by Sheikh “Abdullah Nimr Darwish”. It can be active among Arab Muslims who hold Israeli citizenship, and it has a direct relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood and its international organization and shares similar principles. Chinese think tanks and political and intelligence circles analyzed this suspicious activity of demonstrating in front of the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv, led by the head of the Islamic Movement within the Green Line“ Raed Salah”, and his deputy“ Kamal Al-Khatib”, in denunciation of what they described as the siege, starvation, and war on the Gaza Strip and Egypt’s role in it. It was striking, for the Chinese themselves, that the demonstration did not raise any banners denouncing Israel; rather, all the banners criticized Egypt.

The Chinese interpreted these suspicious demonstrations against Egypt in the heart of Tel Aviv as part of a Brotherhood conspiracy led by the international terrorist organization of the Muslim Brotherhood under Israeli sponsorship. This was especially true given that the demonstrators, who belong to the Islamist movement, had obtained permission for these demonstrations against Egypt from the Israeli Ministry of National Security, and that they carried the Israeli flag, not the Palestinian flag, during these demonstrations. This, to the Chinese, reveals the extent of cooperation and joint planning between the Israeli Mossad and the international terrorist organization of the Muslim Brotherhood, through its branches inside Tel Aviv, represented by the “Islamic Movement in Israel.” The goal was to cover up Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians and blame them on Egypt, especially since the banned Muslim Brotherhood was behind these demonstrations, primarily with Israeli support.

Here, analyses by Chinese think tanks concerned with the Middle East, as well as all military, security, and intelligence circles in Beijing, considered the organization of these demonstrations by the Islamic Movement in Israel, which is loyal to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt in particular, in front of Egyptian embassies and diplomatic missions abroad, and the fact that some members of this Islamic movement attacked a number of Egyptian diplomatic facilities abroad, to be a systematic distortion of the Arab and Egyptian role in favor of the Palestinian cause. This does not serve the Palestinian cause at all but rather serves the interests of the Israeli occupation. The demonstrations, especially those organized in front of the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv, were organized by the Muslim Brotherhood, a group of 1948 Arabs, after they obtained approval from the Israeli occupation authorities to hold the event. During the event, the Palestinian flag was not raised at all, in accordance with the directives of the Israelis themselves, via the Israeli Mossad.

Here, Chinese military, security, and intelligence circles analyze that US President Trump’s talk of forcibly deporting Palestinians from Gaza, first to Indonesia, then to Egypt, Jordan, and finally Syria, is the real reason behind the Israeli Mossad’s encouragement of the Islamic Movement in Israel, which is loyal to the international terrorist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood, banned in Egypt and most countries in the region, to organize demonstrations against Egypt in front of the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv and around the world. Despite the categorical rejection by Egypt and all countries in the region of the issue of the displacement of Palestinians, US President Trump’s insistence on the displacement issue and his repetition of it have become a source of significant doubt and question marks among the Chinese. This is especially true after Trump spoke of imposing US control over Gaza, of course without dropping the discourse of displacement from his political lexicon and agenda. These American statements were not only condemned by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, but they were also publicly criticized by Chinese officials and members of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party, given their seriousness and the fact that their content amounts to war crimes and genocide involving both Israel and the United States. China also drew attention to the fact that some within the United States are now counting on such statements as a pretext for removing Trump himself from office. Here, China has exploited all these developments surrounding the Gaza Strip and the genocide against the Palestinians to expose Washington on multiple fronts and generate negative propaganda, particularly regarding Washington and the US administration’s rhetoric about human rights. Meanwhile, Washington not only remains silent regarding the killing and destruction of Palestinians in Gaza but also, along with financial and military support, provides Israel with protection in the Security Council by using its veto power against calls for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the entry of humanitarian aid into the stricken territory. All of this is a joint Israeli-American attempt to prolong the ongoing war, which brings nothing but destruction, devastation, killing, and displacement to the Palestinians. China similarly announced on Friday, March 7, 2025, that it supports the plan to restore peace and rebuild the Gaza Strip, proposed by Egypt and other Arab countries. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized during a press conference held on the sidelines of the annual session of China’s National Legislative Assembly in March of each year that “Gaza is a land belonging to the Palestinian people and is an integral part of the Palestinian territories, and that changing Gaza’s status by force will not bring peace but will cause new chaos in the international order.” In his media briefing on March 8, 2025, on China’s foreign policy and international relations, Chinese Foreign Minister “Wang Yi ”clarified his country’s position on the current crisis in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the need to respect international law, protect civilians, and reject the use of excessive force. With Chinese Foreign Minister “Wang Yi ”affirming, “Beijing’s full support for the Egyptian initiative, considering it a necessary step toward a comprehensive and just solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.”

In this context, on Thursday, May 15, 2025, China’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations“ Geng Shuang”, called for urgent steps to achieve a comprehensive and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue, stressing that only through the implementation of the two-state solution can the Nakba be turned once and for all. Geng Shuang emphasized that: “During the UN commemoration of the 77th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba, “Seventy-seven years ago, more than half of the Palestinian people were expelled or fled their homes during the Arab-Israeli War, and since then, they have embarked on an arduous journey to realize their legitimate rights and interests. Today, 77 years later, the historical injustice suffered by the Palestinian people has not only not been redressed but has also been exacerbated.”

At a time when Israeli and American circles are concerned about the development and growth of Egyptian-Chinese relations, especially in the military sphere, which includes: (joint military training and joint military maneuvers represented by the “Eagles of Civilization” maneuvers between Egypt and Beijing, technological cooperation between China and Egypt in the fields of electronic warfare and surveillance systems, in addition to the transfer of advanced military technology from China to Egypt and assistance to Egypt in obtaining fifth-generation stealth fighters to confront the “American F-35 fighters”, the export of which is prohibited to all countries in the region except Israel, in order to preserve Israel’s qualitative military superiority over Egypt and all countries in the region without exception, even those normalized with Tel Aviv under the Abraham Accords, such as the UAE and Bahrain).

Based on the above analysis, we understand China’s clear position regarding the demonstrations organized by the “Northern Wing of the Islamic Movement” inside Israel, led by Raed Salah and Kamal Al-Khatib, in front of the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv. These demonstrations, to the Chinese, clearly revealed the true intentions of political Islamist movements, most notably the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood and its international organization. These demonstrations exposed the double standards of Chinese agencies and institutions regarding the positions of these extremist Islamist movements, which maintain complete silence regarding the crimes of the Israeli occupation while making Egypt a target for attack and distortion.
