Shit journalism. At least tell us if you voted for Brexit so I know if I should empathise or not.
Its not a rule id ever heard of, but thats another Brexit benefit for us.
Maybe a bit harsh too but not sure why dad and the kids couldn’t just go themselves.
Oh no, what a sad situation for them /s
Was this story created so we can all have a laugh and forget our struggles with employment, cost of living, etc, etc, etc?
I guess it’s a case of never make any assumptions when travelling in Europe any more. Can’t believe 52% of the people who voted at the referendum wanted this kind of thing or maybe thought it would never be like this.
I didn’t realise you could extend a passport. Does that mean you end up with a 20+ year old photo? And why are the Passport Office still flogging extensions if they’re not valid for travel (to the EU at least)?
If I’m reading it right it then it sounds like the passport was valid and she should have been free to travel. It’s less than 10 years old, and has more than 3 months remaining. If this is right, they were falsely denied boarding and the airline is misinterpreting the rules. The 10 year rule is separate to the 3 months.
