4. I think they want more leeway with the F16s. They are only allowed to fly them internally under the old rules. They want to be able to fly them against India next time SHTF.

5. Pakistan has been the hidden winner of Trump’s mania along with Syrian president. Pak got to patch up it’s relationship with Usa but also got to keep her relationship with China without picking between Usa and China. Very good game indeed for nomination of noble prize and some place for Trump Tower.

6. Oh, I didn’t know Munir had extended his term. Another power grab damn. It seems Pakistan’s cycle of politics-dictatorship-politics will unfortunately continue.

   He be consolidating power on multiple fronts, not only extended his Army Chief term from three to five years (until 2027), and through parliamentary means, but also got promoted to Field Marshal and being the second person in Pakistan’s history to hold this rank since. The timing seems suspicious coming right after the recent conflict with India. I agree with the comment that Pakistan.. or Munir in this case really came out as winner.

   Two hour private lunch with Trump at the White House was a major diplomatic boost for Pakistan and Trump even praised him for preventing escalation with India and called him *extremely influential*! wow trump never change, boot lickers is best base for him. Yeah it’s evident (2025 edition) Pakistan’s democratic institutions remain weak against military influence, and this just firmly reinforces that pattern *again*. Will be keeping an eye out on developments
