Why waste money on an election? Just make Leo Varadkar Taoiseach, Micheál Martin Tánaiste and pick one of the smaller parties that hasn’t had a go in a while, to tag along too, before utterly destroying their reputation so they will have no chance wining anything for the next 20 years. /s

Mostly because I think the outcome would be *worse*.
It would cripple what small action we’re actually doing against climate change now, especially if the rural independents step in to fill the gap.
