Princess Isabella of Denmark has a fairly unique life. She and her friends are able to walk through the gate of the Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen after a day out, waving at the royal guards that keep everyone else out. And one of the biggest benefits of being a princess? Being able to raid a queen’s closet.
The 18 year old princess has started borrowing pieces from her mum’s wardrobe as she starts to build her own personal style. And Queen Mary’s wardrobe is nothing to laugh at.

As summer holidays got under way, King Frederik, Queen Mary, Princess Isabella, and Prince Vincent arrived at Grästen Palace, the Danish monarch’s residence in the hotter months. The princess borrowed a chic pair of beige and black flats from Chanel, one of Queen Mary’s favourite casual shoes.

While Queen Mary wore a fun black and white polka dot print midi dress from Weill, Isabella turned to mum for fashion help again.

The young princess paired a white brocaderie blouse from Scotch & Soda with a maxi skirt that Queen Mary first wore in 2020. The cotton poplin skirt features a bright botanical print and tiers to add volume.
Given how impressive Queen Mary’s closet is, Princess Isabella’s sense of style is in safe hands.
