Geothermal isn’t new to the UK
This is not something super revolutionary, realistically it’s just a fancy way of talking about specific GSHP’s.
I know some bug end consumers who have been looking it it for a while. The problem is often that the efficiency and heat source improvements over an ASHP often are not that great because of the increased cost & complexity
