Can’t drop in to the repair shop today. However, does anyone happen to know a place that can repair zips on suitcases? I’ve been trying to find a place to fix it for ages.
That’s mad! Was only looking at this place last night, my lamp stopped working and it’s website directs you here.
Nice work comrade
Love this idea – planned obsolescence gets on my nerves, and anything that can fight back against this (and general failure) is a win!
I often drop the lady off at the gym beside you guys and often wondered “what the hell goes on in there” & googled last night. Weird coincidence.
Keep up the good work
That’s fascinating. How do you make money?
Love if this was in other cities
Oh no, I can’t make it today!
Is this something that will repeat?
Any good with old Gameboy SP?
Can you weld the handle back onto my frying pan?
Ahhhh would love to learn bout repairing clothes. Can’t make it today but hope there’s another event like this soon! Also, thank you for the good work. You are a blessing!
Do you have ramps for cars?
Brilliant stuff!
Bring it down !
We have welders !
I have a Samsung earpod charger base that has never worked. Could you have a go at it??
This is a fantastic idea. Inspirational
I just threw a car power washer in my black bin because it just stopped working and I lost the receipt. Stupid Lidl products are useless. Got a Karcher, best decision.
Where can I get notifications for any other events Tog have coming up kylemore is only down the road from me I’ll have to check the place out.
This is perfect. In today’s purposely single-use world this is a step in the right direction to fight planned obsolescence.
Great idea, will definitely try to make the next one.
I’ve been wanting 5o set something like this up in Waterford,
Please post more about how ye did
It is a great idea! The only Sunday I cannot make it. About to embark on tablet screen replacement journey, would appreciate some guidance. I will bring tools and new screen. Is it available on any other day? Kids welcome? 13yo behaving like 5yo, though…
This is a brilliant idea. It’s unfortunately not possible to repair most smaller things these days because it’s hard to find repairmen who can spend time repairing small things. Your best bet is trying it yourself, or throwing/recycling it. The greenest and the most sustainable thing to do would be to repair it.
This is a fantastic idea and kudos to setting it up. Especially when we’re at the Crux of a cost of living crisis.
Do you have any need for 3d printed items?
I have a few electronic things that I haven’t recycled yet and have bought replacements for; hoover, kettle etc. If ye repaired them, I’d be happy to donate them to someone. Will be keeping an eye out for your next event.
