A 50-year-old migrant worker fell to death from the terrace of the house where he was staying on Sunday night.
K. Viswanath Sharma, a native of Bihar, was staying in a rented house on Pudhu Road near Suramangalam. He was a carpenter. On Sunday around 10 p.m., he went to the terrace to sleep. He accidentally slipped and fell from the three-story building and died on the spot. The Suramangalam police sent the body to Salem Government Hospital for postmortem. The police registered a case and are investigating further. The police have informed the his family members in Bihar.
