I speak English, and if the locals teach me how to say “thanks”, “hello” or “good-bye” I will use it but I’m not going to be able to form a sentence or hold a conversation in Greek or Italian out of my ass because I go on holiday there for a week.
Meanwhile Bavarian separatists don’t even speak German while in Germany.
Mio fratello in Cristo, we’re way worse.
The funniest thing is to speak French to the italians
I’m so glad that the island I’m from got colonized by the French, now I’m a bilingual queen
KÖNNEN SIE DAS FÜR MICH BUCHSTABIEREN?!!
It has to come from Luigi, dude, when you are a Tourist destination like Grado, learn at least English.
Meanwhile Luigi in Greece
Luigi: Parlare italiano?
Stavros: No
Luigi: silence for 2 sec
Stavros: ….
Luigi: Asks the question in Italian anyway while not even slowing down a bit as if Stavros had just said Yes.
I respect the French defending their language. Bastardising French is like farting on a crowded train, it should be illegal.
German however is a disgusting ugly language and should be bastardised so we can slowly erode it out of existence. Really it should have been made illegal and all Germans should have to speak english or French
Not speaking at least 3 European languages fluently should get anyone deported.
I always try to talk to hans in my best attempt at german when I’m there. The French not so much.
Me trying to say, “Tschüss” to a German, and butchering it miserably, and them looking at me like some insane person. sorry Hans I’m trying…
When I was in Greece I saw an old French woman yelling at a cashier in slow/loud French. It was absolutely infuriating and if I was closer to her in line I would have scolded her for it – so disrespectful.
Italians are always so happy when you say at least “buongiorno” or “grazie” to them in shop or restaurant. One of the best feelings in the world
Bon…Jor…no 🤌🤌
Went to Amsterdam with a couple of friends and they didn’t even try to speak English. No “please” or “thank you” either. It was embarassing.
I bet you all know how to say malaka and what it means

At least give us this one thing for the money we dump into the EU
If you would consult the numbers, Pierre and us earned this arrogance
