  1. Good journalism.

Also shows the problem of overly cumbersome legal procedures which bad actors can exploit.

  2. Lots of “Heavenly Stays” being advertised online, still.

  3. Dodgy af through and through. The fact they were one degree of separation away from individuals under EU sanctions says everything about who they associate with. And the brother still employed at the world bank… 😂

  4. This isn’t a bug, its a feature.

    CAPITALISM is working.

  5. The statement “the purpose of a system is what it does” means that the true function of a system is revealed by its actual behavior and outcomes, rather than by its stated goals or the intentions of its designers. This concept, coined by Stafford Beer, emphasizes that the system’s impact, or what it actually accomplishes, defines its purpose.

  7. My friend contracted on 16 flats in London Fields. All immediately going to a short term lets company, despite no hotel use class. So depressing

  8. Surely the answer to this would be for the landlords or their agents to get a booking at the flat he was illegally subletting, and then refuse to leave?
