The UAE and Moldova signed on Monday a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the mutual exemption of entry visas.
The step was taken during a meeting in Abu Dhabi between UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and Mihai Popșoi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.
During the meeting, held today in Abu Dhabi, the two sides explored ways to enhance bilateral relations and expand joint cooperation across various fields—including the economic, commercial, and investment sectors.

Sheikh Abdullah, who also serves as UAE Deputy Prime Minister, affirmed the UAE’s keenness to establish distinguished and advanced cooperative relations with Moldova.
