that is going to be a really bitch of a time for the poor farmer that has to deal with those. the only consolation would be that every wire is a dead russian.
How many of those will also have unexploded ordnance at the other end?
anyone think they were look at an arma reforger video lmao
How thick is a cable? I’m surprised you can see them on grainy video.
Kind of eerie to think at the end of most of those is the end of someone’s life.
As a farmer I’m a bit sad watching that. I also kinda laugh at the people who stopped using plastic drinking straws and coffee cup lids to save the turtles.
Can you resell or reuse those wires?
Are they just triggers for traps/mines or is this a new form of barbed wire?
The clean up from this war is going to take decades and probably take a few more lives due to the unexploded ordnance.
That can’t be good long term.
Hopefully Ukrainians can find better and more peaceful uses for all that when it comes to recycling all that cable.
how long are those cables, typically?
Least of their worries for now, but any idea on the longer term negative impacts of these fiber optic cables (environmental, interfering with farm equipment, animals ingesting) ?
Watching the light glisten on the cables is beautiful in a weird way
That is going to screw up far equipment for a very long time.
Do other drones get caught up in the fiber optic wire? Common sense tells me yes, but i don’t know how light those wires are. If they do get caught uo, does that mean drones can only go in certain directions? I’m a complete newbie with this stuff.
