Demand for Armored Security Cabins in Türkiye Rises

(MENAFN) Interest in bullet-resistant security booths is growing in Türkiye, driven by economic progress that has led to increased orders from both state bodies and private enterprises, according to Turkish prefabricated building producer Karmod.

Karmod stated that the nation’s expanding economy has led to a surge in demand for armored cabins, which were traditionally acquired by police and gendarmerie forces but are now increasingly sought after by private businesses.

“Previously, our armored shields and security cabins were mainly requested by public institutions like law enforcement,” said Karmod’s cabin sales manager, Enes Kizilbay, in a statement.

“In recent years, we have seen a noticeable shift toward private-sector demand, particularly from corporate headquarters and financial institutions,” he added.

Kizilbay emphasized that the firm continues to supply bulletproof booths to government entities as well as foreign embassies and diplomatic missions.

These protective units are tailored based on the location of installation and are equipped with customizable doors and viewing windows, Kizilbay explained.

Business clients can also request that the booths reflect their corporate branding, and the structures are usually produced in sizes ranging between 3 to 15 square meters.

The most popular dimensions are 2×2, 3×2, and 3×3 meters, he said.

Engineered to endure BR7-grade armor-piercing bullets, the bulletproof cabins also feature automatic-closing firing holes, which enable guards to act without leaving the shelter.

Additional features such as alarms, floodlights, and other safety modifications are also available.
