The UAE and Moldova have signed a mutual visa waiver agreement during a meeting in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

The exemption for Emirati citizens will facilitate easier tourism, business exchanges, and cultural interactions with the Eastern European country.

Foreign Affairs, received His Excellency Mihai Bobescui, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova. His Highness and His Excellency Mihai Bobescui signed a Memorandum of Understanding on mutual visa waiver between the two countries.

 

During the meeting in the capital, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in economy, trade, and investment with his Moldovan counterpart Mihai Bobescui.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the UAE’s aspiration to consolidate distinguished and advanced cooperation relations with the friendly Republic of Moldova, and to enhance joint action in various vital sectors that support the two countries’ efforts to achieve comprehensive development and sustainable economic prosper
