In a sign that fall semester is rapidly approaching, Harvard University undergraduates taking Calculus II over the summer sat for their final exam on a recent Friday inside the Science Center.
But even as Harvard prepares to welcome students as it has for hundreds of years, there are visible signs that things are far from normal on campus.
Office windows of lab researchers displayed hand-made signs with messages such as “invest in science.”
In another break from the norm, Harvard was full of international students this summer. They stayed here out of fear that President Trump’s administration wouldn’t let them enter back into the country on visas to study at Harvard.
