I think Andrew was a very useful idiot, as making so much of the Epstein narrative about him had definitely turned it away from everyone else – this smothering the real story
The ‘threat’ about the Waleses and interviews is bunkum. They don’t often give interviews, and the chances of ABC getting one were zero anyhow.
The only reason why the Andrea and Epstein story is so huge is because it’s by design. Virginia was above the British age of consent when they slept together. When everyone’s distracted talking about creepy Andrew, they’re not demanding to know who else was at the parties.

Yes they absolutely should. They won’t be though. Charles was friends with known pedophiles, one worse than Epstein. This has never been addressed. There was an investigation into his friendship with another as he gave him money and a place to stay (I know you’re thinking “oh his bother Andrew”. No you’d be wrong. It was a whole ass other pedophile.). Everyone just accepts this like it’s no big deal. If one of my friends turned out to be a pedophile you can bet I’d loudly proclaim that I had no idea and that person would be instantly removed from my life. The establishment knew about Saville. His victims themselves said they reported it. It was ignored. For decades. Same with Epstein. Yet these people keep associating with them.
