SAUCIER Miss. (WLOX) – Lots of ice, coffee beans, and caffeine are the primary necessities needed to keep Beachy Bean Bar up and running in Saucier.
“Whatever you can think up, we can mix up,” said co-owner Gabby Priebe.

The business, which opened up in February, offers a slew of drinks.
“We offer a variety of drinks. A variety of coffee. We do cold foams, we do dirty sodas, frozen lemonades. We try to give that huge option of whatever you’re in the mood for,” said Priebe.
Along with coffee, the Beachy Bean Bar serves espresso drinks, refreshing spritzers, frozen lemonade, and dirty sodas.(WLOX)
Priebe and her mom, Liz Jocson are from Seattle, Washington, where coffee shops can be spotted on almost every corner.
After making the move to South Mississippi, the two began searching for coffee shops, especially in Saucier.
“I fell in love with the area and was talking to my sister one day about potentially moving here. She was like what would we do for work. I said I want to open a coffee stand because I always wanted to do that, and they definitely need one,” said Priebe.
“Then I called my parents and chatted about it, and then Beachy Bean Bar was born.”
The Beachy Bean Bar is open Monday-Friday 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.(WLOX)
Both Priebe and Jocson said opening the mobile business was a big risk and a large investment that took a lot of preparation to get up and running.
“I think the longest thing was the beans. We had everything together except the beans,” said Jocson.
Finding the perfect bean also meant finding the perfect roaster.
“I wanted a roaster that was a size that we could grow with, and we didn’t have to worry about getting our supplies depending on how busy we got,” said Priebe.

After nearly six months in business, this mom-and-daughter duo has witnessed constant growth.
Although the Beach Bean Bar is mobile, they believe they’ve found their home at 17071 West Wortham Road in Saucier.
“We started parking here and going to events, but as we stayed consistent and grew our social media, we have had such consistent loyal customers here that we stopped going to events, and we decided this is a great spot,” said Priebe.
“So we bought a building and we’re going to put that up, then maybe put this on the road again and maybe try something new with this.”
