It feels like every few weeks, there’s a new headline hinting at a potential royal reunion—Prince Harry, Prince William and King Charles all back in the same room. From whispers of secret “peace summits” to speculation around the upcoming Invictus Games, the rumor mill hasn’t stopped churning. And now? A royal wedding could be the next setting for a much-talked-about family moment.
Peter Phillips—Princess Anne’s eldest child and the late Queen Elizabeth’s oldest grandchild—recently announced his engagement to Harriet Sperling. According to Hello!, both Prince William and Prince Harry are expected to be invited to the wedding. Cue the royal speculation.

While a guest list hasn’t been confirmed, royal insiders note that Peter and William, 43, have always been close. Hello!’s Online Royal Correspondent Danielle Stacey described Peter as something of an “older brother figure” to William growing up. “There was quite a gang of us,” Peter once said of his cousins, recalling the childhood “mayhem and chaos” they used to cause.
Naturally, the engagement has fans wondering: could this be the moment that brings Harry back to the U.K. and back into the fold?
If not at the wedding, another potential reunion could take place in 2027, when the Invictus Games head to Birmingham, England. While that’s still a couple years out, it’s a significant date on the royal calendar. Helen Helliwell, CEO of the Birmingham Games, shared that they’d be thrilled to host both Harry and other members of the royal family.

“His passion [for the Games] is unsurpassed,” she said. “He really brings a magical sparkle dust to his interactions.”
There’s one wrinkle in the plan: the final day of the Games (July 17) falls on Queen Camilla’s 80th birthday. Which means, even if a reunion is possible… it might come with a scheduling conflict.
