What songs should I add?

  1. Getting PTSD flash backs from working in a busy city centre pub back then. All this songs were on repeat. I’ll add 50 Cent – In da Club.

  2. Where is the love by black eyed peas or Clocks by Coldplay are very Celtic tiger for me.

David Gray’s white ladder album had longevity so it just seems to be a Celtic tiger album.

Heyday by mic Christopher and Mary by ‘The 4 of Us’ prob peak though.

Poker face by lady Gaga or number 1 by tinchy stryder are pretty crashy.

Mundy’s Galway girl is peak crash for me.

  3. You need to get some bands from the Irish music scene during the boom before it waned in the recession, has a very particular feel for me

The Blizzards, Fight like apes, Republic of loose, Director, Royseven

  4. When did the Celtic Tiger start? Are we talking from ’95 on?
    Oasis …
Prodigy – Voodoo People (formula1 theme on RTE2)
Fatboy Slim – Rockefeller Skank, Right here Right now,
Groove Armada -Superstylin’, I See You Baby (Shaking that ass)
    Roots Manuva – Witness
Leftfield – Song of Life (or Phat Planet, if you want something a little harder…)

  5. Turned 18 in 08 so more recession tunes but from my memory of going clubbing, Stronger by Kanye West, Day N Nite by Kid Cudi, Destination Calabria by Alex Gaudino would be the some of the main ones around then.

Special shout-out to Explosion by Kalwi & Remi also.

Can also add Land Down Under by Men at Work with the amount of people going to Australia during the recession, it was on nearly every weekend for a good while.

  6. An albums worth of U2 songs followed by those two or three James blunt songs that were played on repeat and to top it off add multiple instances of “Bad day” by Daniel powter
