Broken Chair Leg: caster socket inside one leg of office chair base – need help or part suggestions

Hi everyone,

One arm of my office chair’s five‑star base is damaged inside: the cylindrical hole where the caster stem should mount is broken. As a result, the caster won’t stay installed. I want to know:

1. Is there a way to source just one replacement leg with the combined caster socket?

2. Are there reliable DIY repair options or parts like socket inserts or epoxy fixes that might work long-term?

I purchased this Office chair from Amazon on May, 2024.

Did anyone had similar issue and able to fix it?
