The facility could be operational within months – with 100 beds, designated neonatal and paediatric intensive care units, emergency and surgical care departments, rehabilitation, and trauma-informed care services. It would be run by a consortium of countries including the UK, Canada, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and New Zealand, and led by Australia.
