If there was a reason to be “Proud to be British”, I’d argue having this man on our airwaves by the BBC, educating the masses. Is definitely one of them.
I distinctly remember growing up with this gentle soul and Steve Irwin on TV with my grandparents, and we were constantly in awe with nature and how it was presented.
The world is a marvellous place, and we have a marvellous man to take us on a journey.

Like the guy, however I find it hypocritical that he isn’t on a plant-based diet or even vegan, yet claims he cares about animals and the planet.
He’s a master of karate and friendship for everyone.

He must be the inspiration for hundreds of thousands of careers in conservation so it’s a rightful title. By all accounts a totally lovely man too going by the people I know that have met him (and my constantly regurgitated story about him writing a reply to a letter I sent him).
