Republicans abdicate their duty to protect pedophiles. Democrats abdicate their duty to protect democracy. They are not the same.
The *sole* value of conservatism is respect for and obedience to [one’s perception of] traditionally established hierarchy, and hierarchy dictates that those on top (in-groups) are rightfully idolized and receive privileges, credibility, and resources, while those on the bottom (out-groups) are demonized/dehumanized and/or bound by restrictions, scrutiny, and lack of resources.
To them, the second-greatest injustice imaginable is for those [they perceive to be] on the bottom [of social hierarchy] to have access to the rights, credibility, and resources reserved for those on top. The first greatest injustice is for those on top to be bound by the restrictions, scrutiny, and lack of resources reserved for those on the bottom.

“Know your place” is their mantra.
We can expect Pam Bondi to follow Texas AG Paxton’s lead and issue arrest warrants for the congressmen when?
The right wants to illegally send the FBI to force democrats back to force them to participate in their cheating scheme to steal seats from we the people while they are also illegally using the FBI to remove trumps name from the Epstein list and scrub trump from the Epstein files.

It’s weird that I haven’t seen any mention of republicans doing this exact same thing in Oregon in 2020. They were fleeing to other surrounding states to avoid a vote.
