At first glimpse I was wondering why a photo on my phone was on reddit.. I took almost the same photo a year ago when I was visiting N. Ireland. I actually like the photo so much I’ve thought of printing and framing it. The words are simple but I also wonder about the story behind it. I guess I’m not the only one this message on the wall has had an impact on.

Seems as though someone has lost a much loved grandparent.
Sometimes they feel more like a parent than our actual parents because their lives have more stability and they’re wiser with age.
Not a day goes by I don’t think about my Granda.
I don’t know the story, but the 1942-2024 makes it seem like someone has passed away and someone misses them a lot
