    >Whitehall insiders said the Johnson administration was developing the plans partly in anticipation of a new constitutional crisis if the mainly protestant Unionist parties — all of which have rejected the so-called Northern Ireland Protocol — refuse to re-enter the region’s power-sharing executive after the May 5 Northern Ireland Assembly elections

    >RTÉ News understands that British government lawyers have drafted legislation that would repeal a key provision of the EU Withdrawal Act, which enshrines the Brexit withdrawal treaty, including the Northern Ireland Protocol, in UK law

  2. Yada yada yada yada *oven ready*

Blah blah blah, *limited and specific*

Yeah yeah yeah, *got Brexit done*

I think those are the main points. Brexit continues to be exactly as successful as 48% of us expected.

  3. You can only imagine the fuss these pricks kick off when they decide they want to leave EE midway through a contract…

WHAT DO YOU MEAN I SIGNED A CONTRACT???!!

  4. One day soon, the penny will finally drop for the 52%, who have been taken for absolute mugs.
None have got the Brexit they wanted or voted for.

Even the fucking Govt, that wanted Brexit, voted for brexit, got brexit done… doesn’t like the deals it has agreed.

If it wasn’t so pathetically sad it would be funny.

Taking back control by giving all control to a bunch of already rich white guys.

Those sunny uplands, have all relocated to the EU.

  5. JRM knows this, he just wants to tell Brexit voters this might not be the case to give them false hope that we can tell the EU to shove it with no consequences.

  6. > “A lot of commentary that says: ‘Well, we signed it and therefore surely we should accept it lock, stock and barrel.’ That’s absolute nonsense.

What happened to the immutable “will ov da peepul” that was magically set in stone?

They won, can’t they just get the fuck over it?

  7. JRM is very excited to talk about brexit, because it isn’t partygate. And it isn’t his own corruption. And it isn’t the cost of living. And it isn’t tax rises and spending cuts and a swelling deficit. And it isn’t the NHS dying. And it isn’t his and the party’s connection to Russia. And it isn’t education falling apart. And it isn’t failing law and order.

Suddenly picking a fight with the EU is top-priority for the government.

  8. >Mr Rees-Mogg, who is Boris Johnson’s minister for Brexit opportunities, had told a hearing of parliament’s EU scrutiny committee: “A lot of commentary that says: ‘Well, we signed it and therefore surely we should accept it lock, stock and barrel.’ That’s absolute nonsense.

“Hey, you know that legally binding thing we signed? Fuck it. Fuck them too. It doesn’t mean we should stick to the agreement just because we signed it”.

Tories, everyone. Snake fucks who can’t be trusted. Ever.
