The footage was filmed from multiple drones watching the shoot down. This is very a famous clip from the Ukraine War, but the other angles don’t get as much attention as I believe they should. Of the five Russian aircrew, two perished in the crash and a third in the hospital almost a month later. The helicopter was Wagner operated and crewed

Kinda dumb for them to try and keep flying vs trying to land asap
Yeah we don’t see helicopters being used on the front lines any more.
It ate that rocket a lot better than i thought it would..
Still can’t figure out why they wouldnt attempt a land. If the pilot was incapacitated by the shot, would a helicopter keep flying straight or fall out of the sky?
Ahhh an absolute classic, bunch of bigheads in there supposedly. There was a claim that one person survived that but I don’t see how myself
Was thinking that crash looked pretty survivable until it flipped over. Everyone inside probably roasted. Thats rough.
Correction, Mi-17… tail rotor is on the left side is a Mi-17.
I call BS on anyone surviving that inferno.
I didn’t read the title and was honestly shocked that a Russian helicopter, or any helicopter, dared operating and even landing at the front. 2022 invasion footage almost looks like another war.
This unit used to post videos all the time. Don’t see them much anymore. Wonder what happened to them.
ngl.. that was impressive it kept flying for that long with engine on fire..
Either way they’re dead anyways, even if they landed it, FPVs or infantry is waiting around for sure
Crazy how many camera angles we got
Arma reforger type shit
Hard choice. Land now and risk taking a bullet. Or keep flying for 2 minutes and beg for one.
Did not expect it to eat that rocket
They kept fanning the fire.
