  1. See, the morning show, presumed innocent, foundation, sticks, ted lasso, the crowded room, shrinking, the studio, severance, silo, slow horses

Apple is UP there with quality. It’s 90% hit, 10% miss.

  2. Doogie Kameāloha, M.D. was ok. Small show about a family in Hawaii. Didnt see a reason for them to make up stuff for that show

  3. They should have called it Jason Momoa’s Buttocks. Time for the next episode!

  4. Including the lassoing of the shark and riding it like a frigging stallion

  5. Um are we meant to just sit here and act like Dog The Bounty Hunter never existed?

  6. This is the show where he rides on a shark. When I saw that in the trailer, I was ok I will watch it but I guess it’s not that accurate…seems I was wrong?

  7. I can’t watch it. This movie is absolutely gorgeous and the cast is terrific.

I don’t want to read my way thru this movie. Sorry.

I’m seventy-two and subtitles are a necessary evil but I would have thought to tell a story this big in the native language and you narrow your audience.

Do Jason Mamoa’s fans even know how to read?

  8. My only experiences with Hawaii are the Michener novel, the TV adaptation with Julie Andrew’s, and a book I read as a little kid in the 70s while sitting on the beige carpeted floor of my school library reading editions of “women in history” … she was queen Liliuokalani

Also books on Clara Barton, betsy Ross, Florence nightingale, Harriet Tubman, Abigail Adams, Eleanor roosevelt, Dolly Madison, Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan

Dear reader, I read them all

  9. It has a pretty generic plot for the first two episodes, but the attention to detail fosters an immersive experience, amd the action is fun. Im stoked for more.

  10. It is kinda boring and he is not a good actor. The subtitles of the native Hawaiians language is hard to follow

  11. Part Hawaiian here, with a History background. This is the most accurate representation of ancient Polynesia that Hollywood has ever done IMO. Everything is on point.

It’s just a shame Hawaii couldn’t compete with tax credits to film it on location. While New Zealand is beautiful, it’s not the four main islands (Oahu, Kauai, Maui, Big Island) I was expecting and hoping to see.

  12. I don’t know. George Clooney running down Tantalus in slippers was pretty funny.

  13. Magnum PI was pretty legit. The actual helicopter pilot from the show who was in that crazy crash was the principal of my elementary school.

  14. Does he put his own spin on it and abandon his family in the movie too?
