  1. I know it’s unpopular opinion but I think this is going to do more harm than good for the gaming industry and gamers as well.

  2. In a perfect timeline this will get passed and Chat Control and online age verification won’t.

  3. I think right before the law will be in effect a lot of games will disappear permanently at the same time. I’m absolutely sure Blizzard already had protocols ready.

  4. Just so people know, Ross isn’t the founder, he’s not even legally part of the initiative because he’s not eligable, hes “just” a volunteer that helps spreading awareness and stuff like that.

  5. Jesus what a waste of time and effort. Game studios and publishers should be allowed to do whatever they want with their own products.

  6. Maybe we can use the momentum to change the timeline and prevent the AI surveillance dystopia?..

  7. And now we not just have Stop Killing Games but also the Online Safety Act that needs to get abolished as fast as possible.

  8. I mean, we’re already in the timeline where Trump is president and internet censorship is gettung normalized. The only way it could get worse is the Fallout timeline. So something good was bound to happen. Also, this still could go nowhere.
