As customers seek more baseload power, orders for natural gas turbines and other electrification equipment are continuing to power up GE Vernova Inc., according to CEO Scott Strazik.

The company chief discussed the second quarter results and the positive outlook ahead in a recent conference call with investors. For natural gas enthusiasts, the results were bullish.

“We grew our backlog by more than $5 billion and increased our gas equipment backlog and slot reservation agreements from 50 to 55 GW,” Strazik said.
