  1. If you were truly a “red state” you wouldn’t need gerrymandering to win.

  2. I’d like to know what charges Abbott is going to arrest democrats on. I’d like to know what crimes the democrats have committed.

  3. These same people are crying about California potentially doing the same thing. Not that I agree with gerrymandering in general, but you have to fight fire with fire.

It’s always state’s rights until it goes against dear leader

  4. They won’t win again after this fiasco of a president, and they know it. A last desperate gasp.

  5. It’s 100% legal .. states are allowed to redraw districting maps

According to Colegrove v. Green, 328 U.S. 549 (1946), Article I, Section 4 left to the legislature of each state the authority to establish congressional districts;[4] however, such decisions are subject to judicial review.[2][5] In most states redistricting is subject to political maneuvering, but some states have created independent commissions.

The Supreme Court’s ruling on the Pennsylvania redistricting effectively allows elected officials to select their constituents by eliminating most of the grounds for constituents to challenge district lines.

  6. Apparently the regional governors now have direct control over their territories.

  7. This from the team that is hyper focused on furries and women being reduced to baby incubators. Creepy political weirdos who hide behind a flag of spiritual piety while literally protecting pedophiles at the expense of their citizens’ safety and freedom. They are saying the quiet part, admitting their corruption *out loud*, and the people are complacent. Y’all get what you tolerate at this point, and are a shame on the legacy of Texas.

  8. You’re part of the United States you unfortunate scumbag. You took every benefit of blue Presidents helping you, giving you guys the same privileges. To forget that is really a declaration that you just don’t get what holds countries together. It’s not greed and infighting.

  9. Ok, let the red states make their states red, the blue states can do the same. Then let’s see who has more representation. If Texas can do it so can California, New York and every other blue state.

  10. You’re whatever kind of state that the people living there tell you are because you work for those people dickwad.

  11. Jeffery Epstein.

The rich can’t run from this. We want ALL names.

  12. They’re a red state whose policies have eviscerated personal freedoms, but it’s the democrats fault. You can’t make this shit up anymore.

  13. Since I think this is going to unfortunately happen, time for blue states to do the same thing. Come on Dems, the gloves are fucking off at this point.

Take the high road bullshit aint gonna save this country now.

  14. Texas is a purple state at best, but as of October 2024 the majority of registered voters are Democrats:

    Total Registered Voters: 17,323,617

    Democrats: 8,054,976 (46.50%)

    Republicans: 6,574,201 (37.95%)

    Third Party/Other: 0 (0.00%)

    Unaffiliated: 2,694,440 (15.55%)

  15. The weird thing is that Republicans have not shown up or walked out in 2007, 2019, and 2021. It’s basically the pot calling the kettle black.

  16. These “representatives” think they are absolute rulers and people have to obey them. We have to remind them who is in charge with our votes.

  17. Its time for all states the have their districts drawn by a non-partisan third party with a focus only on population density after each census.

But that would make too much sense.

  18. I hope this backfires on them and the people vote blue in all the new districts. That’d be hilarious

  19. That’s a green light for california and every blue state to gerrymander to their hearts content

  20. California needs to get rid of all its red seats. We’re a blue state.

  21. So he’s openly admitting that Texas only cares about those who vote red? So no “for the people, by the people”? Got it. Texas is a redneck middle eastern country/state now.

  22. Montana has an all Red government that is entirely loyal to the fossil fuel industry, corrupt church money, and a pedophile president. I don’t believe it is something to brag about. It has not served Montanans well.
