  1. He’s right. But it’s hard to trust his boss who changes opinions every week. Yesterday Trump was talking about imposing sanctions on Russia, but today Trump is happy and wants to meet Putin.

  7. People are gonna bash Graham but he’s been a staunch supporter of Ukraine and has openly condemned Russia since 2014 when Crimea was annexed. He’s likely been a big reason why Trump is shifting stances recently on this.

    European leaders were just announced to have met with Trump and Zelensky after Witkoff’s meeting with Putin’s briefing, hopefully the message is united across the board, besides the rat Orban and possibly Fico :/

  8. Honestly, it makes sense

    Europe has been trying to convince Trump to not abandon Ukraine, but it also has to do its part, putting sanctions and not buying Russian oil directly from the Russians but from Indians who buy it from the Russians and resell it with a margin doesn’t make sense

  9. It is obvious that we should stop importing fossil fuels from Russia, and this should have happened yesterday. However I’m also all in for huge tariffs on everything which is ‘made in USA’.

I love how this sub is simultaneously calling republicans Russian assets and saying they’re abandoning Ukraine, but then when they do or ask for something that absolutely would be massive in hurting Russia’s budget and ability to fund their war effort, now half the sub is angry that anyone would dare suggest that.

    You can hate Graham, but he’s absolutely right here, this would fundamentally change Russia’s economy and war machine if the EU and US put pressure on Russia’s oil purchasers.
