I used to live in Irvine, and the place where this happened, is like, in the centre of town, and used to have a lot of foot traffic.
It’s less than 200m and in direct line of sight of North Ayrshire Council’s HQ building as well.
The Forum Centre was like, an indoor market, and one of the sort-of-stalls was a guy that sold all the service bits for every domestic appliance you could buy. Used to buy stuff like washing machine parts, vacuum cleaner parts, that sort of thing.
Anyway, this article came as a bit of a surprise. I hadn’t realised that Irvine town centre had deteriorated quite this much.
“The High Court in Glasgow heard the cannabis was valued at somewhere between £611,600 and £1,834,800.”
That’s quite a range in value.
fucking legalize it already ffs, prohibitionists have handed the entire market to cartels, terrorists and criminals.
They were probably adding considerably to the value of the shopping centre with their operation, knowing the state most are in nowadays.
It’s a sad state of affairs when you know guys growing plants will get a longer sentence than fucking child absusers
>Daja was previously sentenced to eight months for a similar offence at Leeds Crown Court in May 2023.
>He was served with a deportation order and was sent back to the Albanian capital of Tirana in July 2023 but later returned to the UK.
>Toma also had a previous conviction for growing cannabis, having been sentenced to 14 months in Leeds in 2022.
>He was ordered to be sent back to Albania at the time, but went on to claim asylum and his case remains live.
>Skenderi – like the other two – had no ties to the UK.
If you want to know why Reform are running so high in the polls this is why. What have we here: Illegally came to the UK (Albanians never had free movement)-Crime convicted-jail sentence+deportation+illegaly return+asylum +more crime+more jail
Whats that, 1 million quid, because of these animals? Lawyers fees alone will take a substantial chunk.
I honestly don’t know whats the point of living a decent law abiding life. So many people are struggling by and the State’s resources are wasted like this.
