What 1000€ rent gets you in Northern Europe

  1. That’s how I perceive Northern Europeans to be in terms of hospitality and character xD Netherlands Sweden Germany extremely unfriendly nations xD

  2. Good one, 1000€ may be enough for that firewood

  3. Still cleaner and more civilized than some shacks in southern Italy.

  4. Nice and cosy, not bad for a savage Norseman. But for £1,000 a night the UK government will get you a room in a 4-star hotel in Canary Wharf and roll out the red carpet all the way down to the Channel. And they’ll send Ben Dover to welcome you as you get off the dinghy. Value for money that!

  5. This looks more desirable than slaving away in a city job to live in a 10 square meters apartment with 4 flatmates

  6. Man I wish my flat was that hot and that roomy!

But my shack also only costs 300€ a month, so I guess it makes sense.

  7. And you’ll have to share it with at least 3 people.

  8. “Secluded location in nature. Comes with bonus dog”

  9. Stop bragging already, not everyone of us can live in such opulence

  10. Nicer than what 1000€ can get you in Madrid or Lisbon.

  11. Unironically this would be £1350 a month if it was in zone 3 London (but the landlord wouldn’t let you keep the dog).

  12. In all reality, living in Finland is pretty cheap. The ‘digital nomads’ and airbnb hustlers have no interest in here, so prices are pretty steady.

Even in Helsinki, no working person has roommates. And if you want to live in the woods, you can buy some big old family house for few thousand euros.

  13. The amount of space around your home, something I only can dream about.

  14. That’s actually a 3500€ penthouse suite in downtown Lisbon.

  15. People pay 1000€+ for a weekend in that for recreational purposes. There are plenty of „outdoor“ themed places like that.

  16. The dog is an optional not included, you’ll be alone.
