  1. What happens when tariffs are raised over and over? Tariffs cause increased prices, reduced choices for the consumer, disruption of the supply chain, slower economic growth, job losses, inflation, and strained international relations.

  2. It seems that no one at the White House is keeping the spreadsheet updated? Maybe they forgot they already had a deal with Japan?

  3. I should note the only source for this is this guy’s tweet. And there’s nothing actually on WSJ at this time to corroborate this

  4. We were saying the previous framework with Japan was bad for US automakers. Maybe we should be glad he changed course.

  5. You have to give and take when making deals. You can’t just say “Tariffs on you, so give us what we want.” With no promise to drop the tariffs any or at least not raise them anymore on the fly after they get what they ask for.

  6. Trump dreams about tariffs and what number he magically decides when he wakes up 💀

  7. Somehow tarrifs help Trump family businesses. He only cares about himself in the end.

At the end of the day, it’s the 340 million Americans who’ll end up footing the bill for these tariffs.

Brace yourselves, brutal inflation is coming.
