If EU do not resolve any problems created by Russia – Russia can create new problems.
NATO can create more little countries in the area. I hear that the area loves NATO!
Why now? What exactly has changed that is tearing Bosnia apart?
Russia bad, Serbs bad.
Whats new?
(x) doubt.
It’s mostly just posturing by angry actors. There is likely going to be no actual conflict in the region because it doesn’t suit most of the closest/biggest players in the region.
Biased article. Threats of violence continuously come just form one side. And that the Bosniak-Muslim side. They feel they are losing the diplomatic support so they are trying to pressure/scare the international community into holding onto the status quo as long as possible. Otherwise they point the finger to the war scenario. Which is very-very unlikely. No one has the will or the energy for a new war there.
This article seems like it was written for people who live in the 90s time capsule. 30 years have passed. That country is dysfunctional. Of course its natural that changes will be made to restructure it. And of course some people don’t like that. And would prefer to live in the time capsule.
Imho it should be splitted but peacefully. I dont know how you can live together with Serbs in one country, everyone leaves them.
Forcing the serbs into a country they dont want to be part of was a mistake from the start.
Redraw the borders by ethnic lines and the Balkan mess would be over.
