Jennifer Lopez was denied entry to a Chanel store in the Istinye Park shopping mall in Istanbul, Turkey, after security “did not recognize her.”

After the singer, 56, was denied entry to the luxury boutique, she went to the store next door and reportedly spent thousands of dollars during a three-hour shopping spree.

She was walking through the mall and tried to enter the Chanel branch when a security guard told her: “We’re full.”

Unfazed by the rejection, Jennifer replied, “Okay, no problem,” and then walked into another store.

According to Turkish media, JLo was later welcomed at Celine and Beymen, where she spent heavily on luxury purchases.

In some photos, the actress is seen wearing a glamorous pink suit and large, modern sunglasses, while surrounded by her security team.

A music industry source told the media:

“Jennifer is undoubtedly extremely successful and talented, but she has had a hard time finding a brand she is on the same wavelength with.”
