Wizz Air has added new routes to its Winter 2025/26 schedule, significantly enhancing connectivity between Greece, Cyprus, and major European cities. These routes, gradually launching between October and December 2025, were listed in the airline’s systems as of August 3.

New Direct Routes to Athens
Athens will see three new direct connections:

Bucharest (Baneasa) – Athens: Starting October 27, 2025. The route is moving from Otopeni Airport to Baneasa Airport, with three weekly flights operated by an Airbus A321.

Chisinau – Athens: The route, suspended in October 2020, is being reinstated with three weekly flights starting October 27, 2025, using an Airbus A320.

Warsaw (Modlin) – Athens: A new connection launching on December 1, 2025, with four weekly flights on an Airbus A321neo.

Significant Network Expansion in Cyprus
Wizz Air is also expanding its presence in Larnaca and Paphos, with a total of six new routes.

New Routes to Larnaca:
Barcelona: Starting October 27, 2025, with two flights per week via Airbus A321.

Skopje: A reinstated route (suspended since October 2020), starting October 28, 2025, with two weekly flights on Airbus A321.

Suceava (Romania): Returning after a suspension in October 2023, with two weekly flights starting December 18, 2025, using an A321neo.

Timisoara: New connection launching October 13, 2025, with three flights per week on Airbus A320.

Tirana: New route from October 4, 2025, with two weekly flights; flights will be operated by A321neo from October 28 onwards.

New Routes to Paphos:
Warsaw (Modlin): From December 2, 2025, with three weekly flights using A321neo, enhancing connections to Poland.

Yerevan: Flights from the Armenian capital begin October 2, 2025, with two weekly services using A321neo.

These additions highlight Wizz Air’s continued growth strategy and focus on strengthening its presence in Southern Europe during the upcoming winter season.
