  1. Went out like a badass atleast made it nice and quick

  2. If i explode it before it explodes me… i can win….

  3. As it stupid as it may look, he had enough presence of mind to just opt for the instant lights out instead of potentially suffering for hours.

  4. Bold strategy Cotton, let’s see if it pays off for him.

  5. It worked! Not that there was much *inside* that head to ram it with.

  6. Hell of a situation. I’m going to die. Might as well headshot myself and be lights out instead of holding my guts slowly dying for hours potentially.

    Fuck this war.

  7. you can see the exact moment he realized he couldn’t run from it.

  8. Was the drone operator trying to give him a chance to surrender? Seems like it was taking it’s time. Not that there was anywhere for the guy to go.

  9. Made me feel a little bad about myself that I laughed out loud at that.

  10. He kinda looks like the full metal jacket crazy guy.

  11. I wonder if some of these drones could be caught? Some look like they detonate on impact rather than by remote detonation so if you caught one by the underside and prevented it from ramming what it’s aiming for would that hypothetically cause it not to detonate?

  12. this is less ‘haha he try headbutt durr’ and more ‘well fuck it, Uraaa!’ kinda of thing. he knew he wasnt getting away from it, and cowering like a bitch aint how any soldier wants to die.

  13. His official nickname is now Rex.

    (Toy story 2 reference.)

  14. In war there are a lot of ways you can get taken out and unfortunately most are unfathomably painful and some are really slow. As horrible as this is, that soldier saw an “opportunity” and took it.

  15. He’s terrified. I hate the Russians but I still have a shred of humanity, somehow, left in me after everything that is going on in this world.  This is hard to watch.  I hope Putin suffers worse than this guy did.

  16. I think he actually took the brave way out, he knew he was dead and ran towards his demise. Not exactly the way I would want to go, but at least he got to choose in his last moment on this earth.

  17. Putin is a f’n Psychopath. I wish only the most evil things upon him.

Out of curiosity, is Ukraine still letting Russian soldiers surrender or are they just attacking across the board, no mercy?

  18. i never understand why in these videos they dont try to surrender ? ive seen videos of soldiers surrendering to drones and being captured before.

  19. The pilot was either playing with him or going to give him the chance to surrender.

  20. Not a bad strategy if the alternative is bleeding out for hours while in the most excruciating pain you’ve ever experienced.

  21. To Valhalla!
Got to be one of the more honorable ones. Accepted it and ran headfirst into the charge.

  22. I wonder how this would have played out if he got on his knees and his hands on his head rather than charging. I get he opted for instant instead of potentially suffering, part of me wonders if he has another choice since the drone didn’t speed in when he stood up and didn’t run.

  23. TBH the “after” don’t look like an head-butt with the drone.

  24. IMO it looked like he was trying to run underneath it
