A pretty great article from the Galway Advertiser of all places on the racist & fascist march through town and our corresponding counter-demo of Galwegians with United Against Racism Galway.
Good! The press really need to step up to these bozos and call them out more. Why are these losers being treated in such a softball manner?
They also need to call them racists and not anti immigrant protesters.
>parading through town to Prospect Hill, behind Irish, Ivory Coast and Offaly flags
Beautifully done. Right out of the gates. 🤌
Seems everyone had a jolly time full of irony, capers and costumes.
I know popular wisdom is we need to take these “genuine concerns” seriously but honestly I think mockery is highly underrated. They are not serious people.
Fab article, fair play to editor allowing it to be published! Need more journalists to step up

I don’t see anti-immigration sentiment making a comeback after this.
A fantastic article.
This is very good.
That article reads as though it’s a Waterford whispers one, the sarcasm is absolutely off those words.
It’s the best article I’ve ever read from The Advertiser for sure.
