As reported by the Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery, Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba in the Telegram channel
Ukraine has extended the “transport visa-free regime” with the Republic of Moldova until the end of 2027. This means that businesses from both countries can carry out transportation without the need to obtain special permits.
This was announced by Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery and Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.
“We have extended the ‘transport visa-free regime’ with the Republic of Moldova for another two years – until the end of 2027. This provides more opportunities for both Ukrainian and Moldovan businesses. The key point is no return to transportation permits, ensuring the stability of bilateral and transit transportation.”

According to the minister, this decision is important not only for logistics but also for Ukraine’s economy. Last year, trade turnover between Ukraine and Moldova increased by 12%, reaching 1.1 billion US dollars.
The “transport visa-free regime” plays a key role in this process by simplifying cooperation between the countries.
On August 6, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a draft law on the ratification of the protocol to the agreement between Ukraine and the Republic of North Macedonia, which also concerns strengthening the “transport visa-free regime.”
